Major Gifts - FACT Foundation Major Gift

The Foundation for the Advancement for Cardiac Therapies (FACT) Research Fellowship, provides support for cardiothoracic surgical applicants who have not yet completed surgical training. First and foremost, this is designated for heart failure research, and secondarily for adult cardiac research.

The Foundation for the Advancement of Cardiac Therapies was founded by leading medical practitioners in the field of cardiovascular disease. FACT's purpose is to find and develop ways to heal hearts, to forge once disparate philosophies into a new partnership for cardiac care.

FACT's mission is to actively evaluate, research, and treat heart failure by capitalizing on all essential medical, mechanical, emotional, and nutritional therapies. FACT advances the edge of science and technology in combating heart failure, educates medical practitioners in state of the art therapies and increases awareness for organ donation. FACT knows no boundaries and focuses on caring for the whole person-mind, body, and spirit.
